Amy provided age-appropriate expectations for students in her classes, and created a positive environment that facilitated student learning – bringing out the best in each student. Amy closely collaborated with classroom teachers aligning her art teaching with our units of study. I truly valued her positive and creative flair as we implemented many integrated units with our classes. It was my pleasure to work with Amy. I would recommend Amy for any position that she should apply for."

Drishti Vohra, ES Art Teaching Partner, ASB
"There are any number of reasons I love working with Amy. For starters, she inspires students to create aesthetic masterpieces and fills our building with the fruits of student labor. It is a joy to walk into student exhibitions and find art that stands not only as the creation of an elementary student, but also as a piece of artwork worth any adult's consideration. I have seen a number of such pieces that Amy has inspired. Amy does not limit herself to inspiring students, at least once a semester her art room is full of faculty, brought together by the chance to create together. Amy makes such community building look effortless, a testament to her ability. Of equal value to our school is Amy's involvement with the local community. These connections certainly speak to her character, how wonderful it is to work with a colleague who is recharged by giving and volunteering! Of course, her connections are also a resource for the school. Though Amy has been in Mumbai for fewer years than I, on multiple occasions I have turned to her expertise to learn how to navigate Mumbai's creative landscape and bring a project to completion. Amy has been an invaluable member of ASB and of my professional learning community. The students and faculty of any school would be lucky to have her."
Waciuma Wanjohi, Grade 3 Teacher, ASB

"I have worked with Amy for 3 years. She has proven to be a reliable, confident, and capable colleauge. Her work with students reflects thought, intention, organization and most importantly empowers students. She is open to learning more and trying new ways of teaching and learning. I appreciate that she is not too quick to jump to conclusions, but is also willing to express a difference of opinion or stick to what she believes is best."
Jane D'Silva, Grade 5 Teacher, ASB
"Amy has a natural ability to communicate and develop healthy relationships with students. She effectively uses technology and exudes an ability and compassion to challenge students and adapt lessons to meet other students’ needs. Her intuitive and kind personality guides students to express and think critically in the art room. My students were truly excited to enter the art room and experience Amy’s class each and every day!"
